The Shelley Lab

I earned a B.Sc. in Biochemistry with a Year in Industry from Imperial College London and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from University College London (with Professor David Colquhoun). I then went on to conduct postdoctoral research on the mechanisms of activation of ion channels at the the medical schools of the University of Miami (with Professor Karl Magleby) and of the University of Maryland (with Professor Andrea Meredith), and back at University College London (with Professor Stuart Cull-Candy and Professor Mark Farrant). I have also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Franklin and Marshall College and as a Visiting Scientist at Emory University School of Medicine.
